Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Mentlix uses cookies and browser storage to provide a secure, reliable learning experience.
Effective: 13 October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Mentlix may also use similar browser technologies, such as local storage, to remember settings on your device.
2. Essential cookies
Mentlix uses essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect account access, maintain a secure session, and provide features you request. These cookies are necessary for the platform to work correctly.
3. Preference storage
Browser storage may remember choices such as theme, sidebar display, problem-topic visibility, and whether you have acknowledged the cookie notice. These preferences make the experience consistent across visits on the same browser.
4. Analytics and advertising
Mentlix does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking cookies. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before they are used where consent is required.
5. Managing browser data
You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Removing essential session data may sign you out, and clearing preferences may reset parts of the interface to their defaults.
6. Policy updates
This policy may change as the platform evolves. Material changes will be shown with a new effective date, and the cookie notice can be displayed again when acknowledgement is needed.
